I would try three things,

Run Scandisk and Disk Defragmenter in DOS.
Reinstall Systemworks.
Peruse information on Norton website. They have quite a database.

I wonder why you are using Scandisk and Disk Defragmenter, when Disk
Doctor and Speed Disk are better.
