Hi Hans
When I install Winzip, I choose "Classical Winzip" as default
instead of the Wizard form of Winzip. (By the way, if you don't
have Winzip 7, you should download it from <http://www.winzip.com/>
and install it on top of your version. If your Winzip is registered,
version 7 will automatically become registered. If your version is
not registered, you should still be able to use the new version.)
Here is how I unzip all files to one folder.
When you double click on a zip file, the Winzip window opens and
displays all the files that are zipped into your file.
You can highlight some or all of these files and "drag" them (hold
down on the left mouse button) all at once into a folder. (Open
"My Computer" to display that folder.) To highlight all the files
in the Winzip window, click on one file to highlight it and then
hit Ctrl-A on the keyboard.
Another way to extract all the files is to use the "Extract" button
from the top of the Winzip window. Clicking on this button opens
another window where you choose the folder where you want the files
to be extracted. You can type in the folder name or "browse" to any
folder. You pick either "All files" or "selected files" (the ones
that are highlighted) to control what will be extracted.
Another way to get all the files highlighted is to click on "Action"
in the Winzip toolbar and choose "Select All" from the drop down
menu. (Or you can click on each file individually while holding
down on the Ctrl key until they are all highlighted.)
Regards,
Bill
