I have a new HP 519J, Pentium 4, 3.06 GHz, 512 MB memory, 200 GB drive,
running Windows XP Home.  Installed are:  Norton System Works 2005, a
SpyWare program (can't remember which one but it was installed at the
store), MS Office 2000.  I use Incredimail for my Comcast Mail and my
husband uses AOL (TCP/IP).  I run a scan weekly and several things have
been detected and either deleted or quarantined.  My machine either won't
shut down at all or it takes at least 5 minutes to shut down so I know
there is a problem.  Can someone please point me in the right direction to
get this 2-1/2 week old PC back on track.
