I have just made a fresh install of W98SE and now it will not recognize my "D"
drive. How can I get the os to detect this harddrive without formatting and
losing my data? I tried to use a spare disk, formatting and naming it the same as the original drive but it did not work so the os would assign a letter to
the disk and then I substituted the original hoping the os would accept it as drive "D". No Luck. It was not the same size or model so it was a long shot that did not work out. Any ideas?
                        Thanks Bob
