I am running win98.  "Something" happened (when i installed something, or

Did you install Win98 as a new program or as an update to Win95. I was told
by a local programer that in order to get Win98 to work properly you need to
do a clean install with Win95 completely deleated. I am thinking about
changing to Win98 but I am waiting a few more months to see if they get the
update problems fixed.
