"After the Outlook Icon is clicked on and the Outlook page
loads (almost instantly) it takes 32 seconds to show the
list of current emails on the screen."

Hello James!

The first thing I would check is how large your Outlook's data file is.
Regardless of the answer to this (if it's getting to the 100mb plus
range - time to archive unused emails), you should also compact your
data file (usually called outlook.pst). Since it's a database in email
clothing, it retains the space of emails that are supposedly deleted.
And it will decrease the size of the file...

To regain the space, do the following (they are other ways, but...)

1. Make sure your folder list (on the left side) is pinned open. Then
right click on the top level folder (it'll probably say Outlook Today),
then slide down to Properties and left click.

2. In the general tab, click on advanced. In the ensuing window, click
on Compact Now

3. Wait until it's done (it can be a short while), then OK out of the
windows.

This action should make loading lots faster. HTH
