Oops. I never looked at the one which works <sheepish grin>.
Perhaps the problem is the brackets?
If an overloaded inbox is your concern, there are alternatives which are not
rule-based.....
The simplest solution is to just suspend receiving mail by sending a SET NO
MAIL command to all your mailing lists. That keeps you as an active member,
but does not deliver any mail until you cancel the suspension with a SET
MAIL command. The drawback to this is that you would not be able to access
any of the messages from that time frame, except through the mailing list's
archives -- and not all lists have an archive. (we do)
If you NEED to receive the mail, another alternative is to use the SET
DIGEST (and later a SET NODIGEST) command. This will condense a full 24
hour's worth of mail into a single message
