Bob,

Click on start, the menu should pop up, the option for finding a file is
under "search",
the sub menu will point to find files or folders. Once you have the search
option
displayed, then make a short cut for your desktop, so in future sessions you
don't
have to go to the start button.

Regards,
Mike

Subject: [PCSOFT] window files in ME

I just set up my folk's new Gateway with Win ME. There is alot of stuff
in start up that bogs it down as usual, maybe I am blind but I finally
fopund windows explorer located under accessories, but when I clicked on
it it went to desktop instead of the usual system files found under the
old Win 95 & 98. Where can I find the files for windows & such ? First
encounter with ME.

Thanks,

Bobby
