I have MS Outlook 2000. I am unable to send or receive mail in Outlook even though it has been set as my default.
I keep getting a box that displays my user name & password already filled in. When I check the box to have my password remembered Outlook tries to bring in mail but I either get a ‘timeout’ message or ‘a problem logging onto your mail server’ message.
I have run the 'repair' from my Microsoft Office 2000 Premium CD & I have tried to check & recheck my settings in 'tools'& 'options' & all looks correct, I find it odd that I am able to get mail into Outlook Express but not MS Outlook. I prefer MS Outlook.
