  When you can navigate between the pages using Forward and Back
buttons, you have *one* instance of NC running with all of those
files in its history list.  When you see separate names on the
taskbar, it means you've got a separate NC instance running for each
.htm file.
  I don't know what would cause this behaviour to change, however.
