No doubt some "crash-proof" or backup utility running which you could
probably better do without.
Run Windows/msconfig.exe and see if you can deselect it.
If not, check all the startup possibilities and delete it from wherever
it's getting its start instructions. See my tutorial "Computer takes a long
time to startup" for details of where to look if you don't know how.
