Maybe I got ripped off, because I spent well over $100 for my Canon,
(although I shopped pretty extensively for this printer online and found the
lowest price), but it does have a separate cartridge for each color.
I guess we 'crossed in the mail'. This morning, I posted approximately the
same thing you said, but it hasn't been 'aired' yet.
