GhostSurf is a program that disguises your IP address through the use of a
proxy server, using multiple routing paths by rotating through multiple
servers.I don't have any personal knowledge of it, but from what I have read
in a couple of PC rags, the program is only partially effective and slows
down page loading considerably. Anti spyware apps, and/or the use of a
browser alternative combined with a good AV program are effective protection
(along with good common browsing sense). You are probably better off
investing in a good firewall that monitors both inbound and outbound
traffic. If you have a broadband internet connection, there are routers that
have hardware firewall protection as well.

Does any one know anything about GhostSurf made by Tenebril, Inc.
It is supposed to protect you from hackers using you computer and prevent
them for accessing information that you send over the Internet.
This is the first time I heard of intercepting stuff that you send.
Appreciate any feedback on this program.
Thanks in advance.
