It can get complicated when trying to figure out which to install. Rather
than try to give it to you second hand, go to:
http://www.walbeehm.com/win95upd.html. You'll find a complete list of all
Win95 updates and explanations of each. It's one long page so you need to
read a little.

Subject: [PCSOFT] Winsock 1.3 Question

I seem to remember that installing the original Winsock 1.2
without updating something else first seriously damaged the
system.
I now have Winsock 1.0 on the original Win95 and want to install
Winsock 1.3 to use a certain 3rd party program. Is there anything
else I have to install first? Has anyone heard of any problems
with Winsock 1.3, esp. with foreign versions of Windows?

Thank you.
