Hans, until you get a definitive answer you may want to check to see if it's
spyware. There's a tiny free download that you can use for that. It's
called adaware, and here's the link for it:
http://www.lsfileserv.com/index.html. I really don't know if that is
spyware or not, it's just a thought.

Subject: [PCSOFT] openme.exe
for the second time this month i have had a icon called openme.exe appear on
my desktop,i then delete the icon and after doing a file search,i found
openme.exe in c:windows,i delete that also.then i had to go into the winini
to get rid of the message "on boot up"that it cant open it.
this is a real pain,i am not sure wich web site i have got this from.
can anyone tell me what this is,what it would do if opened.?
i am running norton antivirus 2001,and a pop up stopper called analogx pow,
neither seems to detect this pain in the butt program.
thanks in advance,,,,,,Hans Saul
