I am having a new problem with the error message -

 "Your windows password list was damaged.  The damage has been repaired as much as possible, but you may need to re-enter some of your Windows passwords."

Questions:

What causes damage to a password list?

I am now having to type in the password when connecting to the internet.  I tried to go back into Dial-Up Networking and type it in and save it, but it won't "take".  I have had to reboot to connect to the Internet.  

Any thoughts on what I should do?
