I suspect you have a screen saver active or waiting to become active. I
don't believe that will show up in EndItAll. Try disabling it the run
ScanDisk.
Alternatively, on start up, interrupt the startup sequence and either go to
Safe Mode or the "DOS Command Onl". The run Scandisk from the system prompt.

I have EndItAll and closed everything except Explorer and Systray with it
(I'm running Windows 98) and then tried to run ScanDisk. Got the error
message that it had restarted 10 times and to close programs running in
background! They are all closed! Help!
