As you have pointed out, the Roxio/Adaptec stuff is not quite ready
for Prime Time... The parts I use (5.02b-full) work for me in Win95b...
I would make a full back-up and follow the instructions and use the XP
patch that Roxio promises to have out on the Official XP Retail Release
date. (Oct 25?)
As in "all" version patches, Roxio 5.1 is only free if you bought 5.0
