Somebody recently posted this question in PCMAG.
According to PCMAG, unlike a OS service pack you can not un-install a
Service pack for Internet Explorer.
This makes sense to me, because when you install a operating system Service
Pack, for say Windows NT4 or 2000, you will be asked if you wish to backup
replaced files in the event you wish to remove the changes. I have never
seen anything like this with a IE service pack.
