Everything appears to be OK in the show image download department, as the
box is clear of any check mark.
I will now assume it is someone else's fault (I'm good at that)  and live
with it.

Right click on the I.E. Icon on your desktop and then go to advanced and
scroll down to multimedia and make sure there is not a checkmark in show
image download placeholders, if there is remove it and that should solve the
problem, Joseph Rydzy

Ocassionally when I view a web page, or even more rare when I receive an
email attachment, there is a red X inside a square where a picture should
be.
Anyone know why that is and how to correct it.
Windows 98SE and MS Internet Explore and Outlook Express 6.0
