Need a little help.

Using Window 98 SE

This might not be the cause of the problem but I downloaded the latest
version of Window Media Player and added a utility RAM Idle today then
noticed that the Search Engine had changed to "GOTO" with lots of ads. The
customize section only has the ads and cannot be changed.

How can I get back to the original search engine set up on the Internet
Explorer screen where I can select the search engines in the customize
section and also see how many hit I get when I do a search.

I am familiar with the Registry and use Norton 2000 Utilities and Power
Desk by Mijenix routinely.

I've looked in the Internet Options and there does not seem to be anything
that addresses the choice of Search Engine selection in IE.

Thanks in advance for help.
