Hi,
You are using a Win95 disk to format. Don't use the /S switch and then
boot off the Dos 6.22 Disk. That should automaticly start the Dos Setup.

Subject: [PCSOFT] Old version of MS DOS

I intend to format my hard disk as the system has become quite slow.
Presently I do not have old DOS installed on my system. After I format the
hard disk, I would like to INSTALL old version of DOS before installing
Windows95. I would also like that while installing windows it should not
remove the old DOS from my system.

On my previous attempt after I formatted the C drive with <S/> switch and
then I went to DOS 6.22 SETUP, it says <YOU ALREADY HAVE DOS VER 7.0 AND
SHOULD LOOK FOR AN UPDATE .....( I can not remember)>.
