Hi,
I have been using McAfee's Uninstall software for several years, and use it
exclusively to remove old programs, or ones I have installed and don't need
or care for. It does a complete uninstall unlike the MS Add/Remove Programs
from the Control Panel.
As far as the Virus Scan on-line, I have yet to encounter a virus that was
not detected as it was downloaded, so if my Virus Scan On-line (Which I
update nightly) is up to date, I rarely have any reason to scan a specific
attachment, but it is possible with a Right Click. Weekly (Suspenders and
Belt <grin> I do a total system scan..all files, but I have yet to
encounter a virus.
I average 3 virii a week that are caught by me scan.
