I Had this same problem with a Toshiba laptop that had IE pre-installed, my
solution; Completely clean it out of your registry!
In the "Run" box type the command regedit then do a 'find' for Yahoo.
Delete the "yahoo" keys only, but as with any registry work, be careful.
Hopefully someone on the list may have an easier solution. If not though
this should fix you right up.
