Well I found the hard drive by telling control pannel it was a removable
drive and was then able to assign a drive letter to it. Then it showed
up in explorer but I was unable to read it as explorer said it was
unformated!!!

Seeing no other option I reformated it and now it is a fully functioning
hard drive again, however if I uncheck the "removable drive" option in
control panel it dissapears the next time I re boot. But at least I
have the use of it again.

Conclusion: the drive was fairly full (90%) and I think that Goback has
overfilled it, thus scrambeling its contents making it unreadable (I
have had this happen to a floppy in the past).
I STRONGLY SUGGEST that you don't use goback on any disk that is getting
close to full!!!
