Dear Scott: Try removing that file from the startup options in MSCONFIG by
unchecking the box. Also, as for the McAfee problem, remove the "PM"
designation from the McAfee boot line in the Autoexec.bat file while you are
there. That should solve any problem you have with McAfee. If your scanner
doesn't work after removing the vmm32.vxd file, you may want to go to your
manufacturer's site and download W98 compatible drivers.
www.driversguide.com is a good resource for finding drivers, especially by
FCC ID number.
