Hi Bruce

I am runninf XP Professional, but the situation should be almos the same
as yours. Are you talking about Outlook Express or Outlook?

In the case of Outlook the files extension is PST, as you have noted. I
found them in:
C:\Documents and Settings\the_user_name\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook
I also noted that there is a .dat file as well.

In the case of Outlook Express, the files are located at:
C:\Documents and Settings\the_user_name\Local Settings\Application
Data\Identities\{F7CFA15F-261B-49D5-BC1C-EB1349D1E417}\Microsoft\Outlook
Express
In your case, the "F7CFA15F-261B-49D5-BC1C-EB1349D1E417" might be
something else. For Outlook Express, the file extension is DBX

Hope that helps.

If I had the search function working (and knew the file type) this would have been a piece of cake. But sign, life is not easy.
