You could try TurboNotes from http://turbonote.com/
I think it's pretty neat, in particular I like the keyboard shortcuts (for instance alt-shift-c will make a new note containing whatever text is on the clipboard). The basic version is freeware except for a sponsor-url on the about-screen.
