Hi,
Anything I try to download disappears on my pc. It doesnt matter what it is, it goes through the download successfully, prompts me to run or allow the program, and then thats it - nothing happens thats supposed to happen. For instance, when I try and download .exe files, it goes through the download, prompts me to run it - and then nothing happens. The dialog boxes always close, and Im left with nothing but wasted time. Even when I try and search for a file Ive downloaded successfully, it doesnt appear anywhere on my pc. Its like it never downloaded in the first place, even though I sit and watch the file transfers. Im using windows vista basic home package. Please help. I hope Im on the right mailing list.
