  Someone recently asked a similar question in another forum I'm in.
(No, it doesn't matter what forum it was.)

  What I found interesting was that whenever the question has come up
previously, McAfee and Norton have come out pretty much tied, with a
smattering of other choices.
  But in this latest round, I think virtually everyone who responded
turned out to be using Norton.  Many had had one or another bad
experience with McAfee, had made the switch, and had never looked
back.
