Most of the time, Windows Explorer has no business trying to "phone home." I have it set to "NO" and if it's an instance where I am trying to do something with it that is internet related, then I give single-use permission. I think it has given up, I don't remember the last time it asked for internet access.

Subject: [PCSOFT] Zone Alarm & Windows Explorer

Hey, fellow Listers,

For some reason, which I can't remember, I decided years ago that Windows Explorer doesn't need to access the
Internet.

Should Zone Alarm users allow it access?

I'm only curious -- I forgot why I ever denied it to begin with!

Thanks for your insight
