Jim,
I believe that to solve this corruption you need to go into the registry and
manually do a search for all references to OE 5 and of course remove them.
Very Dangerous though. However, You might want to search
www.microsoft.com/Technet or a technet CD if you have it. Also I have heard
that Microsoft's good buddy netscape at www.netscape.com used to have a
detailed report on how to remove Microsoft Explorer and all of the
associated programs with it:(IE Outlook Express!) Just a thought.
