I not sure that I understand your problem correctly but with images (scanned
or
not) I have problem whith printer memory size. If printer can't take all image
it
print only part of it.  Usually with HP printers at least standard build-in
memory
is not enought to print full A4 page scan with high quality. Setting printing
quality
to lower may help.  Adding memory to printer is much better solution.

I used HP LaserJet 2100 with build-in 4MB memory.
