My brother-in-law has experienced a strange problem with Gmail. After
working with the e-mail for about 30 minutes, he suddenly gets a failed
connection notice. If he closes the browser and logs in again, it works for
a while and disconnects again. He has run modem diagnostics through his ISB
(Cox cable) and all reported as working fine. Other web sites do not produce
this problem.

I would have suspected the network card, but he has no problems with any
sites except for Gmail. A Google search produced only problems with Gmail
chat, but not with the Gmail e-mail. Anyone else run into this situation?
