Another suggestion is to network the two computers. You will need a network
card for each. Maybe you already have a NIC in one or both? Then, just use
a crossover cable. It's much cheaper than spending money for transfer
software.

#2: I saw an ad for the software and cable that will allow me to
transfer files from my laptop to my desktop. The price for the software and
cable was $55. Does anyone know where I can get that equipment or failing
that, does anyone have another suggestion?
