The "easiest way" is to use the built-in features of Word 97.
After the page is displayed in Word 97 as an actual page,
Hit "View" at the top, and then HTML source.
This will change it to what I think you want to see.
There is another roundabout way that may be better if you
don't want to "load" Word 97 all the time.
Make a short-cut to notepad.exe and move it to your
"send to" directory, (default: C:\windows\sendto).
Then when you are in Explorer, you can right click on a file
and "sent (it) to" notepad.
One of the above should be fine, If I understood the question.
