To see the formula's goto Tools-Options-View Tab
There is a check box there to show formula's or not. You can always look up
at the formula box right beside the = sign and beneath the Bold button. This
always shows the formula.

Sometimes, with Excel files that have been sent to me from someone else, I
have problems putting in a formula and seeing the result and not the
formula. How can I fix it when I get a sheet like that? What causes that
to happen?
