You could try uninstalling Win95. If that works, delete the Windows
directory and all it's contents. In the root directory of your boot drive,
delete all files left over by Win95 and Win98. Then you could install Win95
again.

However, this may not work. If it does, wonderful !

If it doesn't, you'd better backup all data and store them elsewhere (other
than on the boot drive), and do an fdisk on the bootdrive, format, install
MS-DOS, and so on...

Personally, I'd not bother with trying an unistall of Win95 first. Both
Win95 and Win98 have this habit of leaving all kinds of mysterious stuff
around ! :)
