Netscape 6, or 7beta, for that matter, are not ready for "Prime Time" as
far as mail/news goes. The latest 4x version is 4.8, and works well for
me. Get it here...

I'm a happy Netscape user since version 3.0.

your question isn't answered there, it'll point you Netscape newsgroups
which can solve just about anything.
