Not all files with a tilde (~) in them are useless or temporary. For the
leading tilde in filename or extension the deletion should pose no threat
(see previous msgs. for details), but there are applications with files
containing a tilde as a separator (example HFK~t1vk.typ). Deleting this
file will disable the app.
