Since they are used to WORD 97 that is what I'm going to install on it. Also, they will be doing web surfing for school reports. They may play some games on it, mostly simple internet games. Right now it has Windows 95 on it. There are no files on the computer that need to be saved.

I will add that unlike most in this group, I am terrified of DOS since I have gotten in it before and not been able to get out :)

IMHO, filters don't work. Parenting is a much better option.
Look here http://www2.1starnet.com/evictor/freshstart.html for simple WIN98 upgrade,
or clean install, instructions. You might browse the Toshiba
http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/pd/pd_home.jsp site and see if there are any
FAQ's available. If you've got less than 64 MB's of RAM, I would seriously consider
an upgrade before installing WIN98.
