Your cell containing the total should have the formula

=MAX(0,SUM(B2:B10))

assuming you are summing a contiguous range of cells B2 to B10.

If you are summing an assortment of cells, just add the cells after the
comma.

=MAX(0,B12+B24+H12+H24)

You can have more than one comma if you need to compare several totals.
This also works

=MAX(0,D12+D24+D36,K12+K24+K36)

I have a simple Excel 97 spreadsheet that adds up a few rows ... real basic
stuff

In the bottom box I show the total ... sometimes this can be a minus figure
and Excel 97 will display as -33

What I would like to do is show zero for any minus total ... so rather than
display -33 it will display 0 but still display any totals over zero

TIA ... Mick
