Most of work can be done on modern word processor programs.
Few weeks ago i see in TV even Math textbook made compleatly in
Word 2000.
But some recommendations -
for photos PhotoPlus 5 free .

When you write book, add photos and drawings last. If you add them
when you write , it makes computer slow and can crash. If you not made copy
from your work, restoring your work is real pain. Students here somtimes
forget that
and i must help them out as mutch as possible. Usually only text without any
formating is restorable.
