I have had a problem with Microsoft Windows Critical Update Notification for the last couple of months. I am the only user of a personal computer and have been using the Windows Update page for a long time. Suddenly (no radical system changes or programs added) when I am notified that there is a critical update available, if I choose 'View updates', I am referred to a page which tells me that my network administrator should be notified. Since I am not on a network, this presents a problem. Is there a place where this info is stored that can be corrected?
