I do not know what your trying to control  but you can specify how the DIR
is sorted with a switch....for example to sort by date and time, earliest
first ...DIR /OD...or latest first DIR /O -D.

I don't mean the sort order but the format. Now I have e.g. 08-27-99 11:39p.
I would like 99-08-27 23:39. I have a feeling this is affected by some
country setting but I don't know what.
