It's been a long time since I've dealt with this OS and can't remember how
to take programs out of "Start up." In Windows 98 I use "msconfig." Is there
anything comparable in Win 95?>>

Easiest is to download msconfig.exe from Microsoft or most freeware
sites. It's very small and works well with Win 95. You don't need to
install it, just place the file anywhere.

Otherwise you can go to my tutorials for full details of registry and other
places whence startup programs may run, such as Win.ini, Autoexec.bat etc.
