Hi All: My friends computer (running Win98SE) has a major problem Ive been unable to solve. He boots up.....desktop appears but with no icons or taskbar, etc. Clicking on Alt+Ctrl+del reviews "nothing has loaded". I have tried a boot disk and I have tried the restoration disk but cant get anywhere. Anyone familiar with this before?  Many thanks
