Seems like the following query was too specific.
Can anyone suggest an Excel only list where I might get some
help?
Original query
-------------------------------------------------
I recorded/wrote a macro specific to a particular Excel workbook
and wanted to run it via a new command on the Tools menu item.
This worked. However every time I use the workbook I have to
"re-connect" the macro to the command on the Tools menu item
as I get an error message saying the macro cannot be found.
I would welcome suggestions as to how to keep the macro and
command connected.
The continual re-connection became a nuisance so I chose to run
the macro from a CTRL key. I then removed the command from the
Tools menu item using Customize/Reset. The command
disappears but is back again next time I load the workbook.
Neither of the above stops me working but I would like to
understand what is happening. I suspect it is because I don't know
what I am doing with Visual Basic for Applications.
