This is sort of a question (but might be part of the solution??)

Many moons ago (maybe as far back as Windows 3.0) -- once you installed
your
fonts through the "Control Panel", you also had to bring up your word
processors
(like Word, etc. etc.) and select the fonts and check "OK" ... I was
exiting
out of the Word menu .. not checking "OK" and the new fonts were not
available?
Is this still true - what about other programs such "Print Shop Deluxe"?

Not necessary with Win95. Programs that follow the Windows standard
automatically recognize fonts installed through Control Panel. No further
user intervention needed.

Of course, there are always a few maverick programs out there that insist
on doing it their own way, but thankfully, these are few and far between .
. . and rarely used by the masses.
