Can't do that -- I am not offered "Outlook Address Book" in my services!
but someone said this problem is an artifact of installing Windows Messaging
and/or MS Fax without UNINSTALLING Outlook 98 first.  So unless I hear
otherwise soon, I will uninstall and reinstall OL 98 and see if that
(finally) solves it.

This is a nuisance thing about Outlook, it doesn't make this task at all
"intuitive". First you have to add "Outlook address book" to your services.
